As you all know by now, I make covers for all of the die cutting machines and other crafting machines, and have now for years. I just recently made this one for a dear customer of mine, and I think it came out way too cute!! My covers are very different form others, my covers are made with a thick inner quilted material, providing a very thick and protective dust cover for your machines. These covers are guarrenteed to be high quality, and if you want protection, these are the best of the best. Other covers are just a single layer of thin fabric, providing no protection at all. I am designing a new blog at the moment that will be specifically geared towards just the covers I make, allowing everyone to actually see the work that I do now, and have done over the past couple of years. Hi all!! I participated today in the "My Pink Stamper" ISD challenges. I haven't submitted all my items yet, but here is the one I did for Karlee's "Anything Goes" challenge, as it fit right in with what I was working on today!! Here is my New Cricut Expressions 2, AKA - "E2", dust cover that I made for my machine!! I actually got to decorate mine this time as well!! All my other personal covers that I have made for my machines are lacking in customizations, lol, but not me "E2"!!! And yes, to all who are wondering, the Cricut "E2" Dust cover pattern is finally made, and I am ready to start taking "E2" dust cover orders immediately!!! =)

Hi all! Sorry its been so long since I have been around, but there has been a lot going on here. Once January hit, the world just turned into one chaotic mess! The kids have been extremely sick, and have gone through the flu, stomach virus, viral infection, peumonia, strep, croup, breathing treatments, colonoscopy, finger pricks, nose pokes, blood samples.....its just been a disaster!! I have taken tons of photos of things just haven't organized them, nor had the time to post them. I hope all of you are doing well, adn I will be back up and running very soon!! =)

Bus Driver Gifts

Hi all! Sorry I've been in and out, and not around much, it's been crazy around here. I am finally posting my bus drivers gift for Christmas. It's not much or too fancy (as they are both men, so I can't get glitterfied), but it's special! They were very easy to make, and will last through the years for them to remember!! I purchased (at michaels) 2 wooden pre painted yellow stars, 2 wooden pre painted buses, some Quick Grip all purpose permanent adhesive, 30 gauge wire, and black ribbon. I glued the bus to the star with the Quick Grip all purpose permanent adhesive, pierced a hole on the top of the star with a small screw driver and hammer, on the back, I burned (with my walnut hollow hot marks tool) the year 2010 on the back of each star, then lastly, I wrapped the wire through the hole I made and around the tip of the star, leaving a loop at the top to string my ribbon through. Mission complete!! See very easy, very special, and takes less than 20 minutes!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well on this lovely Saturday! I am, in fact, I am doing so well because my son and I are heading, by train, to Orlando Florida to visit good ole Mickey Mouse! So I am super double duper excited today. This will be our first train ride!

Anyways, on to the topic at hand. I have joined a few yahoo groups, and I'm never one to share or comment much there, but I love reading others posts, learning new tricks from these groups, and what I love most of all, is the sharing of creations that others have accomplished! Now some groups have their rules, and your not allowed to post your blogs, creations, and you have to stay strictly to the topic, and I was reading from one of my groups only to find that there was an issue with people posting their creations, blogs, and sharing files, etc. and it dawned on me that if these wonderful people can't share their creations, then where can we get our inspiration? What good is arts and crafts if you can't share them with others? So I started a group, and its called Scrap-N-Share, and its exactly for those who want to share their creations, ideas, files, blogs, etc.! If it has to do with crafts, its all good! And it could be any crafts, any art, anything creative! Scrap-N-Share is a place to share ideas, get ideas, learn, help others, and have all around the board fun with all types of arts and crafts! Playing With My eCraft!!

Hi All!! Sorry I haven't been around for awhile, as all of you know by now, the eCraft has finally come out, and is available here at Cre-8-tive Instincts! I have been palying with mine now for a few weeks, just trying to get the hang of it, considering that it is a totally different machine than we are used to, as it uses no cutting mat. Craftwell is still trying to work out a few of the kinks in the software, but all in all, once you get passed the scary part of a new machine, its actually a pretty fun machine, with a lot to offer! Here are a few cuts I have just recently made through testing differnt papers and cardstocks! As you can see, this machine also draws, and then cuts your design out around the drawing! I love it! (Also uses colored pens, so your not just limited to black)

I have also cut fabric with this machine, and have totally mastered that part!! I love how perfectly it cuts the fabric, its awesome!! I will be uploading a video this coming week, maybe Sunday, but if not, definitely Monday! I also want to thank all of those who have helped me work through the kinks and issues I was facing, especially a wonderful customer, who I now call a friend, Phyllis, who has walked me through some things, by sharing emails and photos of "how to do's" with me!! Thank you so much, I wouldn't have figured it out any time soon without your help, and for that, I am truly thankful!!!

Hi everyone! I got my Cricut Imagine over the weekend and still have not had much time to play with it, but from what I have done....I have to say "I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS MACHINE!" Hi everyone!! Here is a page layout I made over the weekend after getting back from the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Charlotte NC with some more fun new toys!!

I made this layout using the Pazzles machine that I purchased at the convention, while also using my MTC software and Cricut as well!! The hippo was cut from the Pazzles Machine, and the letters were cut from the MTC software using my Cricut.

I also picked up some awesome pastels (chalks) that I will be featuring a video on soon. These pastels are amazing! I used the pastels to give some depth and dimensions to my hippo. The great thing about these pastels is that they don't smear, they don't rub off, you can use the same brush and work with every color and never worry about the colors mixing together. When I say they are amazing, I really mean they are amazing!! I will post the video shortly showing how these awesome pastels work, and they will be featured in my online store shortly so that you can get yours too!!

Hello Everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!! While I was looking for some much needed quiet time, I stumbled upon something really interesting. Well, I have to say its more than interesting and I am so loving it. I have done lots of research on it for the past couple of days, and have just now purchased it for myself!! Hello everyone. I jsut wanted to stop in and say to all Have a Safe and Happy Holiday. Thing are still kind of off over here since my uncles death. I have been busy making over 200 Thank You cards for my aunt to send out to those who sent their condolences. She is having a really hard time and we are all just trying to be there for her as much as we possibly can. I will definitely be back for the new year, and I have a ton of great things to inform all of you on. There has been alot in the works lately, but it has been delayed due to the loss we have gone through. I hope to have it all up and running by the new year. I am so excited and I can't wait to share this awesome news with all of you!! Trust me its going to be worth the wait!! Hi all. First I want to start by saying Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Enjoy all of those who are around you today, and be thankful to have them in your life. You never know what each second holds in store for you or anyone else.

As of this morning around 5-530am. My uncle Kenny has passed away. Thank you to all who lifted us up in prayer. Please continue to pray for our family as we go through this day of loss. We greatly appreciate it.

Update

For those of you who have been praying for my uncle Kenny, here is an update. Over this week alot has taken place. Thing have gotten much worse. His organs are failing, there is alot of fluid around his heart preventing it to pump enough blood and oxygen to the other organs. He was born with only one kidney and that is also failing along with the other organs. Saturday they moved him to ICU and as of yesterday started dialysis on him. His lungs have also filled with fluid and caused him to not breathe well at all. They now have him on a respirator and highly sedated. As of overnite, he has now come down with pneumonia. The dialysis machine is very sensitive and has been shutting off creating a backup and results in loss of blood for him. So they are now planning to give him a blood transfusion, to give him back the blood he lost. This is all for now, and I will continue to keep you posted.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me and my family in prayer. Please continue to pray for us and my uncle Kenny. As it is so greatly needed and appreciated.

Hi all, I know I have not been here in a long while, but there is alot going on in my family right now, and finding any time to do anything but survive the struggles that have come up is near impossible. My father in law had his second surgery two days ago on his spine to remove more cancer. They found it to be much bigger than expected the first time so they had to go in a second time. He is doing ok for now.

As you all know, me and my 4 kids just got over the swine flu and started to get better, but when it rains it pours, and now we are all sick again. It seems every time I turn around someone is getting sick again. It's been 3 months and we have probably been well a total of two weeks, if even that. It's absolutely driving me crazy. I don't know if our bodies are adjusting to the new changes, as we are from Florida, and we almost never got sick there but maybe once a year.

The really big issue now, is my uncle was just placed in the hospital and was told he will be there for a good long time. They have ran lots of tests on him, and have found that he has an enlarged spleen and liver. They are still running lots of tests, but don't know as of yet the cause. According to the doctors this is a very critical and serious situation. They have placed him on morphine for the pain. I will be doing alot for the family to help out, cooking, hospital visits, etc., so crafting at the moment is on hold. Please, to all of you who believe in the power of prayer, or even if you don't, please pray for all of us, as it is greatly needed and appreciated.

Thanks to all of you who have sent me messages to check on us, you all are truly wonderful, and a true blessing. I hopefully will be back soon, and hopefully will be able to play. I have wondeful news, but at the moment it's just not a great time to share it. I will wait until our spirits have been lifted a little more. I will keep you posted, when anything changes. Thank you to all, for sticking with me through these thick and thin times. You are all a wonderful blessing!!

I felt bad since I haven't been on here in awhile from being sick so I did a couple of cards for you guys real quick. They are very easy to make. Once I get the video thing worked out perfectly, I will go back and make a video of how I did them. As for the monthly cover giveaway, we will probably do it next week. Out with the Swine (H1N1) Flu

I feel like I have been away from everyone for so long. I am truly sorry for not being able to craft and blog. I have been sick for about 2 weeks and as I started to feel better my 2 year old got sick. A day later, here I am sick again. We have both been diagnosed and confirmed with the swine flu. I hope to be back soon, but it may be awhile. Again I'm truly sorry and I look forward to getting back to everyone soon. Please keep us in your prayers. God bless.

Hello everyone!! I made this card this afternoon, and I hope you like it!! I know I looooove it!! True friends are really priceless, and what better way to show them so by giving them this beautiful card!! This card was made with the cartridges Lyrical Letters, Wild Cards, and Graphically Speaking. The card and the border were both made from the "Wild Cards" cartridge, and were cut at 5" each. The word "Friends" was cut from the "Graphically Speaking" cartridge at 2". Now, keep in mind that in this cartridge you only get the word "friend", so I cut the extra "S" from the "Graphically Speaking" cartridge word "so". The "Priceless" tag was also cut from "Graphically Speaking" at 1". The border for the priceless tag was hand cut to act as a border around the tag. I punched a hole in the top of the tag, as well as, the top of the card, and tied a ribbon so that the tag would free float.

The "are" shown in the picture here was cut from "Lyrical Letters" at 1". I added pink rhinestones to accent the periods here. I also accented the bottom of the card with some glitter foamies I bought at Michaels.

On the inside of the card I placed a 4" x 4" lighter purple square for your written message.

Here is the completed card!! Its is a really easy, great card to give to a very special friend!! Hope you enjoyed!!

A Little play time for Halloween!!

Here are a few things I was just palying around with today. I will give the details for each ite below!!

This is one of my favorites. I just got my stretch your imagination cartridge yesterday and I have been waiting for over 3 weeks for it. I guess thats what you get from some ebay people. (not all are bad thoug :) ) Anyways, this is an invitation card I made with that cartridge. I cut the card out at 4". I then found some glitter sticker letters that I have had for a loooonnngg time and decided to use them. I found some orange ribbon and wrapped it around the one side of the card inside and out, and glued it down. I added a orange button that I just sewed on for looks, and to hide the cut peice. You can always tie it or make a bow, but I wanted something different. I hand wrote the invitation specifics all around the inside corners, and placed please come right in the middle so that when you close the card, you would see no writing.

Here I used the hello kitty cartridge. I will be using him in a scrapbook page for the kids. Just thought he was too cute to leave out!!

This is a treat bag that I made for halloween. These are great bags to give kids when they knock at your door, or to just give out as party favors!! Just fill them up sith candy!! I bought the black bags at Michaels, and they were $3 and some change without a coupon. They have all colors and sizes!! So if you have other bags in mind they can work for you!! I basically just cut a cardstock paper to fit the size of the bag and glued it on. I then cut letters with shadows and glued them on. then I placed a bat and a tombstone with a ghostly ghost on!! Really simole and easy to make!! I have others in mind and will share them once they are made!! Hope you enjoyed these small out of no where fun crafts!!

Hey everyone!! Well, today I decided to play, and this is what I made!!

I used the Wild Cards Cartridge to make this card. I love owls!! Isn't it cute!! I used K & Comapny design paper to cut the outer part of the owl out, and I used regular brown cardstock to cut the base of the owl card out. I cut my owl out at 5".
I then

I then cut out, from a lighter shade of cardstock, a 3.5" circle to place on the inside for writing. I got the circle from Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

I then started to accent my owl. I took a thin brown ribbon and tied it through the middle of the card, giving it a bow along the side. I then took glitter glue ( " My Bling-Bling" ) And decorated the peices that I pulled away from the card, thus giving it some definition. I also applied glitter glue to the eyes and the nose, for more accent!!

Hope you all enjoyed this one!! I know I did!! I had tremendous amounts of fun on this one!!

Hi everyone!! This is a card I made today. It is an inspirational card!! I went to Michaels today to pre-order my Gypsy, and I'm soooooo excited!! While I was there, of course I had to use my 50% off coupon, I bought the DCVW Mi Casa stack paper!! I have been wanting that stack for weeks now. So I decided to make a card!! So here it is folks!!

I cut the letters and the butterflies out by lyrical letters cartridge. I used glitters glue to accent the butterflies also. The letters were cut out at 1", and the butterflies were cut out at 3.5" and 5". For the base under the butterflies, I used the pocket full of posies matstack by DCVW. I did not have to cut this peice, but depending on the size of your card you may have to.

I used my new Mi Casa stack for the border at the bottom of the card.

Here are all the supplies featured in my card and what I used to put it all together!! I hope you enjoyed taking a look at my card!! I can't wait for the holidays!! I will have tons of things on here for you to see, so keep checking back with me for more fun ideas!!

Hello everyone. Well I tried to make a video, and well let's say it didn't work out so well...lol. I will try again with a different setting on my camera next time. I will try and post another project here soon. Probably later today. In my world, lately, when it rains, it pours. I am now sick with what I believe to be the flu. My bed is pretty much the only happy place for me at the moment. Through my phone, is the closest I can get to internet and blogging at the moment. My brain is on overload with ideas for fall. Hi everyone!! Today has been an exciting day today!! I hope yours is going just as well!! Well I had a bit of a glitch this morning, I ordered my cuttlebug nad recieved the wrong items..lol. Go figure, huh. But, my day got better when I recieved my everyday paper dolls cartridge in the mail!! I can't wait to use this one!! Then, to top it off, I finally achieved my 800 points I have been working on and can now get my free cartridge!! I am getting the sampler cartridge!! It really looks like a lot of fun!!

I did start a craft today, and I will share it with everyone. I will be doing a video on it soon. I will explain how I did it there. Everything I used in this project is from scraps, or things you would never think of using!! I have a problem with throwing things away, because I know I can always reuse it in some way, shape, or form. I guess its my own way of recycling!! The hands were cut from the MY COMMUNITY cartridge along with the fence also on 3". The tree is from the GRAPHICALLY SPEAKING cartridge and it was cut on 10". My Pooh Creation....

This is a scrapbook page I created for my twin boy a couple of days ago. I love Winnie the Pooh, and I used the Winnie the Pooh Font Cartride by Cricut to do this entire layout. I used a baby blue, polka dotted, embossed 12x12 sheet.

I then cut out the Winnie the Pooh from my cartridge. I glued and put him together on a peice of brown cardstock and used design cutting scissors to give it a border around him. I then palced him in the left hand, bottom corner of the sheet. I accented his red t-shirt with some red glitter glue.

I then cut out a couple of honey pots in different sizes, and placed them in the right, bottom hand corner of the page. I had some bees that I had purchased from the craft store and placed them around the honey pots. I had to create my own honey drips, because the ones from the cartridge did not fit they way I wanted them to. So keep that in mind. I also went glitter crazy on the honey pots!!

In the top right hand corner, I did the dame thing as I did in the bottom left corner. I cut my Pooh out, Then I cut the honey pot out, and placed them together on a plain brown cardstock paper. I then cut a border with the fancy scissors!! And of course.......I went glitter crazy!!! I also added a bee!! :)

I then added the letters to the background page that I chose to surround the photos. These letters are cut out in a wooden theme and are so cute. Unfortunately it is very hard to see them due to bad lighting in my work room. I did not go glitter crazy here because I did not want to ruin the effects of the woodent look to the letters. I also added some cute little bumble bees!!!

Here is a thank you card that I made in my spare time. I used the accent essentials cartridge to complete this card. It is a fairly easy card to make, and is great for just a simple "thanks". I did not add the sizes because its really an at your discretion type of thing. It all depends on how big you want your flower. I bought the pack of green glitter butterflies at Michaels craft store and I love how it accents the card. In the center of the card is a gem, to give the flower a bit of sparkle. You can use any color you'd like, again that is at your descretion also, we all have our favorites.

The inside of the card is made of two seperate colors, and one color is cut a bit smaller than the other. You can also just leave it blank, but I think it leaves some definition to the inside of the card!!

Well, I just learned how to change my background into something so much more cooler!! I used an autumn theme for the fall season, thats just around the corner!! I love fall!!
